About the Research Project
Kalinga University’s Zoology Department invites applications for field interns to study the Breeding Ecology of Asian Openbill Stork and Black-headed Ibis across diverse landscapes in Chhattisgarh. This immersive field research offers hands-on experience in avian behavioral studies and conservation ecology.
Internship Details
- Field Commitment: Full-time residence at sampling locations near Raipur
- Financial Support:
- All field expenses covered (lodging, food, local travel)
- Stipend based on qualifications and prior experience
- Research Focus:
- Nesting behavior monitoring
- Habitat utilization patterns
- Breeding success assessment
Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational background in Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or related fields
- Field research experience preferred (not mandatory)
- Physical fitness for sustained field work in varied terrain
- Strong observation and data recording skills
